  • How do I join Palette Hope?
    To become an official member, click the "Join" tab on our website menu, you will be prompted to fill out a form! To stay updated and learn more about Palette Hope, please subscribe to our mailing list by filling out the form at the bottom of our home page. You will receive emails about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
  • What do you do?
    As an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Palette Hope: Educates: Promoting awareness and providing resources is our main priority. With the use of art we are able to bring topics such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and sexual abuse to a wider platform. Serves: Art is capable of promoting self-expression, feelings, and emotions. We work towards providing healthy coping strategies that deepen and transcend traditional counseling. Advocates: We are dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues in the college community. Help us reduce the number of students suffering from mental health.
  • How can I get more involved?
    To offically become a member fill out the form under the "Join" tab. Dues are $8 per semester. Members have the opportunity to participate in volunteer events and attend socials with the officers. Members get discounted Palette Hope shirts!
  • How often are meetings?
    We do not offer general meetings. However, we host "open board" meetings where we allow offical Palette Hope members to sit in on. Date and location for these meetings are located under our "Events" tab. During these meetings, members can assist our board with event planning and provide suggestions for future events.
  • When are our events?
    Check our "Events" tab to see when events are. You can also follow us on Instagram and Discord to easily be updated.
  • Do I have to be a member to go to events?
    Events are open to the general public. However to voulnteer at events, you are required to become an offical member.
  • Do I have to have any artistic experience to attend events?
    No! We welcome everyone to our events and prior artistic knowdege is not a requirment.
  • Can I apply to become an officer?
    We currently do not have any officer positions open right now. However, we encourage you to follow us on Instagram and Discord so you can keep updated and to join Palette Hope as an official member to have a higher chance of acceptance when we do!
  • Where are donation bins located?
    Donation bins are currently closed due to new university policies. When they re-open they will be located in the lower floor of the Student Union and the first floor of the Student Services addition. We accept kindly used art supplies.
